Alexius Lampkin, PhD

I earned my PhD in Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where I dove deep into the science behind mental health. My curiosity about what drives behavior and emotion led me to focus on how trauma affects the brain at both the molecular and behavioral level.

Today, I channel that passion into managing clinical trials and leading the SleepHealth Ambassadors Outreach program at the DREAMS Lab. Whether it’s working with teens or designing interactive sleep health experiences, I love translating science into something people can connect with.

Outside the lab, you’ll find me chasing laughter and adventure—usually with friends who know how to turn even the most ordinary moments into unforgettable ones.
